Men's Individual Matchplay

 

Fees – No entry fee.

 

Format – Individual Matchplay using full course handicap allowance.

 

Example;

Player A – Full Course Handicap is 8

Player B – Full Course Handicap is 16

Player A plays off zero (0) strokes and player B receives 8 strokes in the match.

Ties – In the event of a tie after 18 holes, players must proceed to extra holes starting at the 1st hole, continuing until a winner is decided.

 

Play by dates – If a date between the two players cannot be reached by the deadline date given on the draw sheet, please inform the Tournament Committee (David Williamson) and a coin toss will proceed. It is both players responsibility to get the match played in time. No extensions of the deadline will take place. Caddies – Caddies are not permitted at any stage during the competition.

 

Condition of Play – This event will be played in accordance with the Official Rules of Golf approved by the R&A governing body and follow the Local Rules of Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai.

Registration – Registration can only be made by signing up on Golf Genius, or by emailing David – dwilliamson@montgomeriegolfclubdubai.com. No other forms of registration will be permitted.

 

Closing Date – The closing date to register for all Matchplay competitions will be Sunday 24th January 2021 at 5pm.

 

Draw – The draw will be published on Monday 25th January 2021 at 5pm and will be sent out with updates each Sunday.
